The red deer (Cervus elaphus) is one of the largest deer species. The red deer inhabits most of Europe. This shot was taken in Richmond Park in London during the English autumn showing off its fall colours with the deer.
Richmond Park is a National Nature Reserve and deer park with 630 Red and Fallow deer that have roamed freely since 1637. The deer have played a major role in the park’s history and have shaped the landscape too. The park was once the hunting grounds for past kings and, was created by King Charles I
