Namibia, a country of magnificent landscapes and wildlife

Last November, I returned to once again explore Namibia. Aside from the many animals the country hosts, it is renowned for its spectacular landscapes. This is Deadvlei. Surrounded by the highest sand dunes in the world,  a salt pan that dates back 600-700 years ago showing a dried out river bank and black scorched trees. Though not petrified,  the wood does not decompose because it is so dry. The classic scene has been shot so many times so I decide to view it from the air by shooting from a helicopter. You can see many other shots taken in my portfolio from this trip under both African travel, African animals and my landscapes portfolio.
